Dong Nai Logistics Association Launched: A New Chapter for Regional Logistics
On December 1, 2025, the Dong Nai Logistics Association (DNLA) was officially launched at its first congress for the 2025–2028 term with more than 100 founding members. This marks an important milestone in leveraging the province’s growing infrastructure, especially Long Thanh International Airport and port networks to position Dong Nai as a modern logistics hub for the Southeast region.
From Concept to Reality: A Milestone for the Logistics Community
The first congress of the Dong Nai Logistics Association (DNLA) took place on December 1, 2025, gathering over 100 delegates representing logistics, transportation, warehousing, port, and import–export enterprises across the province.

The founding members represent all major segments of the logistics ecosystem: road transport, waterways, warehousing, ports, ICD operations, and supply chain services. This creates a solid foundation for a comprehensive, collaborative industry network right from the beginning.
Mission and Vision: Modern, Sustainable and Connected Logistics
DNLA is established with the mission of becoming a bridge between businesses, authorities, and logistics infrastructure, with the goal of optimizing goods circulation, reducing logistics costs, and enhancing the competitiveness of local enterprises and the regional economy.
Key development directions include:
- Promoting digital logistics and technology-driven supply chains
- Developing distribution centers and inland container depots (ICDs)
- Advancing green logistics and agricultural logistics
- Expanding regional supply chain connections within Southeast Vietnam
The association also aims to provide training, consulting, and business support services to help logistics companies especially SMEs adopt modern standards, strengthen management capabilities, and adapt to global demands for efficiency and sustainability.
Dong Nai’s Emerging Advantages for Logistics Development
The establishment of DNLA comes at a time when Dong Nai is rapidly upgrading its infrastructure and expanding logistics capacity. The province is regarded as one of the most promising logistics gateways in southern Vietnam due to several strategic advantages:
- Four major logistics centers covering over 950 hectares have been planned, including two near Long Thanh Airport, one in Phuoc An, and a regional transshipment hub in Trang Bom.
- Three ICD ports are already operating: ICD Tan Cang – Long Binh (232 ha), ICD Tan Cang – Nhon Trach (11.1 ha), and ICD Dong Nai Port (17.8 ha).
- In November 2024, the Phuoc An Seaport Logistics Service Zone officially came into operation, strengthening the province’s multimodal logistics capabilities.
- Dong Nai currently hosts 339 transport companies with more than 31,277 vehicles, along with 120 hectares of available service land inside industrial zones — ready for new logistics investments.

These factors position Dong Nai as a strategic hub for multimodal transport, import–export logistics, and industrial supply chains particularly as Long Thanh International Airport moves closer to operation.
The Role of DNLA in the New Logistics Landscape
With the launch of DNLA, logistics companies in Dong Nai now have a united voice to coordinate efforts, collaborate with government authorities, and help shape long-term logistics development strategies. Expected contributions include:
- Advising on policies, infrastructure planning, ICD expansion, distribution centers, and green logistics with a special focus on leveraging Long Thanh Airport.
- Facilitating business cooperation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices and global logistics standards.
- Supporting digital transformation across logistics sectors to improve efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness.
- Helping connect businesses to potential investors, technology partners, and international supply chain networks.
DNLA is also expected to play a critical role in attracting investment into logistics infrastructure such as warehouses, ICDs, logistics parks, and multimodal transport facilities contributing to economic development and inter-regional connectivity.
Long-Term Vision: Building a Regional Logistics Hub
Dong Nai aims to become a major logistics center not just for Southeast Vietnam but for the entire region with modernized infrastructure, multimodal transport networks, and internationally competitive logistics services.
The advent of DNLA aligns with a pivotal moment: new ports and ICDs are being developed, logistics service zones are expanding, industrial parks are growing, and Long Thanh Airport is opening unprecedented opportunities for air freight and international logistics.
If DNLA successfully fulfills its role of connecting stakeholders and accelerating industry growth, Dong Nai is well positioned to become a leading logistics hub, playing a central role in regional and global supply chains.
