GRECO 2024: Industrial transformation, a new driving force for sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City

On the evening of September 21, the Opening Ceremony of the Green Growth Product and Service Introduction Space 2024 (GRECO 2024) took place within the framework of the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEF), hosted by the Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC). The theme was “Industrial transformation, a new driving force for sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City.”

GRECO 2024: A space for connecting businesses and displaying diverse, innovative products

Taking place from September 21 to 25, GRECO 2024 attracted more than 200 businesses with nearly 8,000 innovative products spread over 10,000 m² on the central streets of the city. The event not only expands in scale but also focuses on advanced technologies, especially Industry 4.0, creating opportunities for businesses to introduce breakthrough solutions in the fields of high technology, electronic microchips and artificial intelligence.

The highlight of GRECO 2024 is the Techmart area, where green technologies and renewable energy solutions are displayed, contributing to promoting sustainable industrial transformation. In addition, Ho Chi Minh City also reserves a special space for businesses that have achieved the title of Green Enterprise and innovative enterprises, applying the ESG model in production and business. With the participation of more than 100 domestic and foreign units in the fields of technology and environmentally friendly products, GRECO 2024 has created a space for the exchange, connection, and display of diverse products, aiming at the goal of sustainable development.

GRECO 2024: Shining green ideas, creating a sustainable future

The City leaders emphasized that the goal of GRECO 2024 is to support businesses in promoting green growth products and services. At the same time, it raises public awareness of the green economy and circular economy. As Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Vo Van Hoan emphasized at the opening ceremony that to contribute to the sustainable development of the country and the City’s economy, it is necessary to increase support for the business community by creating conditions to promote green growth products and services. It also creates motivation and encouragement for businesses to switch to green, circular production models.
